Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address or phone number for authentication purposes.
Health and Profile Information: To provide personalized calorie recommendations, we collect your date of birth, height, and weight. This information is not required to use the basic features of the App.
Meal Photos: We collect the photos of meals you upload to the App for analysis and to display in your meal history.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and other diagnostic data.
We use the collected data for various purposes including providing and maintaining our Service, delivering personalized calorie recommendations based on your health information, analyzing your meal photos to provide nutritional estimates, maintaining your meal history for tracking purposes, managing your in-app subscriptions through RevenueCat, monitoring the usage of our Service for improvements, detecting and addressing technical issues, and providing you with relevant information about our services.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with third-party service providers to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for user authentication (Firebase Auth), to identify and fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics), and to send push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App's settings. When you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal information, meal photos, and health data from our systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained in our backup systems for up to 90 days for security and legal compliance purposes.
You have several rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have about you. You can access and update your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.
You also have the right to revoke your consent for our collection and use of your data at any time. You can do this by adjusting your privacy settings within the App, opting out of specific data collection practices, or by deleting your account entirely.
For users in certain jurisdictions, you may have additional rights including the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing of your data, and the right to object to certain data processing activities.
The security of your data is important to us. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
